The compositions are similar: the characters are placed at the center, surrounded by symbolic details that narrate their story, while individual portraits present them as Adam and Eve before the Fall in the Garden of Eden.
My painting technique blends fairy-tale imagery with a contemporary artistic language, influenced by formal portraiture, symbolism, surrealism, and pop art.
In this project, I explore themes of personal freedom, love, and overcoming limitations through a synthesis of painting traditions.
The cycle of five paintings tells the story of Bell-Boy, who becomes a "Top Cone" due to the enlargement of his pineal gland, and Flower-Girl, the daughter of a floral baron, who becomes a goddess and bears Bell-Boy's child. Their wedding is blessed by magical pollen, emphasizing the enchantment of their union. One of the paintings depicts a dark and ominous house— the home of Flower-Girl's father, who opposed their marriage. But love triumphs, and nothing can stand in the way of the heroes' happiness.
The project "GAROLD. SEQUEL" is a series of five vertical paintings that expand the story of the author’s Garold universe. While the first series explored the theme of the hero-savior and the search for inner strength, the sequel delves into motifs of transformation, love, and free will through a parable in which each character undergoes a personal metamorphosis.
