This project consists of two elements: a sculpture of a girl and a silver battery. It’s about the inner light, spiritual core, and universe within every person.
Light glows from under the girl’s skirt—a symbol of life force and hidden potential. The skirt itself serves as a metaphorical shell: it conceals the light while also protecting it. When lit, the light illuminates the heroine’s path, becoming her guide and source of inspiration—and through her, it nurtures those around her.
The project explores self-discovery: the brighter a person’s inner light, the greater their impact on the world. When that light fades, one withdraws and loses connection to others. The mesh under the skirt, "passing a charge," represents the way people interconnect and rely on one another.
Happiness, inspiration, and support are already within us. We just need to uncover and use them—to enrich both our own lives and the lives of those around us.
